Dr. Klaus Wagenbauer

Klaus Wagenbauer studied Physics at the Technical University of Munich. He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics, where he worked on several breakthroughs in DNA nanotechnology. He is one of the inventors of the LOGIBODY technology and since 2022 CEO of Plectonic Biotech, a spin-out from the Technical University of Munich. Plectonic Biotech is among a very few companies that are funded by the German Agency for Disruptive Innovation.

He is the author of several outstanding publications in high-impact Journals, including Science and Nature and has filed several patents in the field of DNA-nanotechnology. He is also partner of the cutting-edge biochip company tilibit nanosystems GmbH.
